The WA Government Cyber Security Policy specifies the measures WA Government entities are required to undertake to manage their cyber security risks.
Cyber security is a term that refers to the measures used to protect digital information, information systems, technology resources, operational and internet-of-things technology, artificial intelligence and other assets from unauthorised access and cyber threats, ensuring their confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
While cyber security risks cannot be eliminated, a comprehensive and systematic approach to cyber security, such as the approach outlined in the WA Government Cyber Security Policy, will assist WA Government entities, including critical infrastructure, to reduce the level of risk to their operations and information.
