We have created a guide explaining how to register for a DWER Portal account before the switchover to multi-factor authentication (MFA) – this is the simplest and easiest way to retain your access to the Controlled Waste Tracking System (CWTS) after the switchover.
IMPORTANT:
The switchover to MFA has been delayed. You can still register for a DWER Portal account using the guide at the link below; however, the previously advised switchover date of 2 June 2026 no longer applies.
