Ms Fowles is Director of Strategy and Governance at the Chamber of Minerals and Energy, with over 15 years' experience in public sector strategy, reform, governance, and board roles.
As Director of Strategy and Governance at the CME she leads the organisation’s strategic planning, business performance, and governance functions. She plays a key role in shaping CME’s long-term direction and ensuring strong organisational effectiveness.
Prior to joining CME, Ms Fowles served as Head of Strategy and Sustainability at the Royal Flying Doctor Service (Western Operations), where she led initiatives focused on strategic growth and sustainable service delivery across regional and remote Australia.
Ms Fowles brings over 15 years of experience in the Western Australian public sector, having worked across multiple government departments in roles spanning strategy, policy development, project management, and organisational reform. Her breadth of experience enables her to deliver impactful, whole-of-organisation solutions in complex environments.
In addition to her executive role, she is an active contributor to the broader community and professional landscape. She currently serves on the South Metropolitan Health Foundation and is a committee member of both the Vic Park Collective and Women in Economics WA.
Ms Fowles holds degrees in International Relations, Economics, and Business Administration. She is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a full member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply
